Metric Gaming, the Las Vegas-based sports betting software firm, has appointed a new CEO and new Chairman of the Board this Week.
Former chairman Peter Bertilsson (pictured) has been named the new President and CEO, with former CEO Martin de Knijff staying on as a director and assuming the role of Head of Business and Product Development. Bertilsson is vastly experienced in the igaming industry, heading up Boss Media and the Ongame Poker Network during his two decades in the sector.
Meanwhile, Louis Castle has been named Metric Gaming’s new Chairman of the Board. Castle has experience of the gambling and social gaming industries, having served as Chief Strategy Officer with Shuffle Master and Vice President of Studios for Zynga Inc.
An advisory board has also been established, with industry veteran Atul Bali confirmed as the first advisory board member. Bali has close to two decades’ experience in the online gambling and social gaming sectors, and is currently President of the Games Division at RealNetworks Inc
