Just days after Chelsea FC’s superstars lifted the Premier League trophy at Stamford Bridge, the Matchbook Trophy will be raised aloft on the same pitch following a sponsorship deal struck by the leading sports betting exchange.
Matchbook, which prides itself on offering low commission rates, attractive odds and high volume liquidity, has signed up as the title sponsor of the Plate Trophy at the Right To Play World Cup corporate charity football tournament in London this Wednesday, June 3.
The tournament will feature 24 teams, with the competition progressing through five-a-side and then seven-a-side group phases before an 11-a-side final.
Right To Play raises money to support sports and play activities for children throughout the world, helping them to overcome the effects of poverty, conflict and disease.
“Through our sponsorship, we are supporting 1,000 extra children taking part in Right To Play programmes twice a week for a whole year,” Matchbook’s senior campaign manager, Danielle Desroches, said.
Matchbook says that it is committed to delivering the purest betting experience to the customer, with its sponsorship of the Right To Play World Cup illustrating those values.
“Every day at Matchbook we strive to deliver the best betting experience to our community of sports lovers, by committing to our goal of giving you more,” Desroches added.
“On June 3, through our support of the Right To Play World Cup, we want to give more to those who need it most.”
Members of the public, as well as the families of those competing, are invited to attend the 2015 Right To Play World Cup to support the good cause.
