Almost everyone has a favourite poker player. Many poker fans have more than one. The British Poker Awards, now entering its fifth year, allows you to vote for your favourites and give yourself a shot at winning a free subscription to Europe’s most popular poker magazine.
Organised by Bluff Europe magazine (www.bluffeurope.com), the British Poker Awards has opened voting to the public on more than a dozen different categories, including Best Live Tournament Player, Best Online Poker Player and Performance of the Year. Last year’s double award-winner Alex ‘Kanu7’ Millar (pictured) is in contention again, alongside a number of new faces.
There are also new categories this time around, including Breakout Player of the Year, recognising players beginning to make their mark on the live or online poker scene.
To vote, visit www.thebritishpokerawards.com. Five lucky voters will win a free subscription to Bluff Europe, just for casting their votes.
And if that wasn’t enough, poker players of all abilities can rub shoulders with some of the greats of the game at a star-studded awards ceremony in London (further details will be made available at a later date).
